I am Rev K Parishudda Rao , born and brought up in a nominal Christian Family . My parents used to go to church and I used to go to church on every Christmas Festivals. I had no fear Of God.My family suffered somuch financially because we were under below poverty stricken people. I am the eldest and only son and I have 2 sisters. I finished my Graduation in Mechanical Engineering.My father worked in a Police department and he had many bad habits . He used to waste his money and our family was not cared much. There was no peace at home .
During this time, I failed in my PUC exams. So I was so upset. One side, Iam troubled about my father and other side, I failed in the exams. Frankly to share, I did not want to live anymore. I thought to leave my house and I left my house. The whole day I was away from home and wandering and in the evening at 5 pm, I went to a Open Air ground and I saw many children were playing there.
As I was watching those children, I thought in myself that “ who will deliver me from all these problems and troubles ? Who will take care me and my family? “ I kept on thinking and thinking. At last, I came home but I thought to commit suicide. As I was about to go to suicide attempt, it was so happened that I went to a Street Gospel Meeting to hear some Songs. Someone was singing and I liked the songs. I sat and started to listen to the songs and slowly message started.
I remember that day, a Preacher by name Abraham from Bangalore was preaching in English and someone was translating. And he made one announcement so suddenly that there is an young man in this meeting and he is in great trouble. I will introduce him after the sermon. He finished his preaching and he called me to the Front and asked me to kneeldown and prayed for me.
That preacher asked me that reminded me of what I was thinking and Questioning in the play ground,ie., “who will deliver me from all these problems and troubles ? Who will take care me and my family? “ I am prophesied by that preacher that God is my Helper and He will deliver me from all my Troubles and He will help me. And also one more prophecy came out that God will make you to stand before kings and royals. Then and there, I got peace of mind. I came to know that there is power in Trusting God . I could feel that God is with me. I started going to church and get saved .
In the year 1987, Dec 30 th , I took Immersion baptism and I could feel the sense that God is calling me for the ministry. He gave me Vision and Burden to preach the Gospel. Since then, started serving the Lord in the local church.
But in the year 1998, I was invited to preach in an open air Gospel Meeting. I was so happy and preached the message. God has filled my heart with His Mission. The Mission of Preaching the Word, Plant Churches and Reach people through Electronic Media. Here , I took a decision of quitting job and entering in to the ministry as a Full time Minister.
In Sep 30th,2003, I was Anointed by to be a Pastor of my church by Apostle Addanki Ranjith Ophir who has been greatly used by God allover the World and he is anointed man of God. He is the great Teacher of the Word. So , Iam privileged to be anointed by this great man of God.
About Family:
God blessed me with 2 sons.. Me and my wife Joseph Meena Rani are fully dedicated to the full time ministry . My sons names are Jwalith Ophir who is of 11 years old, doing 7th standard and my youngest son’s name is Prashanth Ophir who is of 9 years old , doing 5th std. They are good at their studies and involve greatly in the church activities. They are so enthusiastic in learning Music where byJwalith play Tabala & Key Board and Prashanth play Pad(Drums). I thank God for my family who love the Lord and commit themselves to work for the extension of our God’s kingdom. |
